This website has been built in response to the massive uproar caused by the launch of the London 2012 Olympics logo. Most of the UK population, including London Mayor Ken Livingstone, hate the design and feel it should be changed. Instead of just whining about it or organising another petition, we've decided to take a proactive approach.

We believe in the power of design and we know that YOU can do better. So we have built this site as a place where designers can upload and share their alternative designs for the 2012 Olympics logo.

We want this site to be the thorn in the side of the Olympic Organising Committee and design agency Wolff Olins (who were paid a massive £400 000 for the current abomination).

All the logos submitted can be viewed in the gallery and we want YOU, the public, to vote on which logo you think is best. Once we have sufficient submissions and a clear favourite, we'll announce the winner and print 100 T-shirts displaying the logo in all its glory.

We'll send the winner one of the T-shirts, and hand out the rest outside the Olympic Committee's offices. If they ask us nicely, we might give them one or two.

So get designing, submitting and voting. Long live great design!
